Memories

Long before Micah was a father, he was an uncle.  The many years of uncling helped him grow close to his neices and nephews and helped forge his wonderful fathering skills.

Emma and Graham loved hanging out and having a sleepover party. Uncle Micah brought Graham out. Boys slept on the bunk beds and girls all slept together. Uncle Micah made sure they spent cousin time together. --Wendy Lee

I remember whenever we went swimming at the Joneses all the kids would latch on to Micah as he tried to swim and he called us barnacles. He absolutely hated us in the most loving way. -- Elizabeth Draper

The last time I got to hang out with uncle Micah was two years ago. We talked about life and he told me to pursue what I care about and never worry about when I accomplish things, as long as I accomplish them and am happy. After that we went to the beach with Graham, Nate, and Grandpa. I quietly confessed to Micah that I kind of hated the beach, and he, very loudly, answered that he always hated the beach, how the sand is inconvenient and the water is smelly. That made me sooo happy, I don’t know why, I just related so much. -- Ewelina Pawlik

I didn't realize it at the time, but he was the best friend I could have asked for. He's like my top favorite three people; Mom, dad and then him. He was the best person I knew. -- Seth Jones
